The NHS does not cover every service that we provide. There are some items that if you request them we will charge a small fee towards the GPs time and adminstration.

Private Fees

We do have facilities to accept credit or debit cards and will accept payment by cash or cheque. Payments must be made on request for forms or before any medical services such as examinations. A receipt will be given by reception.

Please make cheques payable to: The Prince of Wales Surgery.

The GPs are not obliged to perform Non NHS work on behalf of their patients except for some exceptions. GPs will try to accommodate patients requests but they are not required to do so. There is a lot of pressure on GPs time so please understand that letters and forms will not be done immediately.
